I spent more than two weeks exploring Iceland and Greenland aboard Scenic Eclipse, and it remains one of those trips I find myself talking about again and again. From our first iceberg and whale sightings to Zodiac expeditions, kayaking through the Arctic, the Northern Lights, visits to remote Greenlandic communities, and sailing among the enormous icebergs of Ilulissat, every day brought something completely different. What impressed me just as much as the destination was the way Scenic balanced true expedition travel with an incredibly comfortable onboard experience, thoughtful enrichment, excellent dining, and a Discovery Team that added so much context to what we were seeing. It was adventurous, educational, luxurious, occasionally unpredictable, and exactly what I love about expedition travel.
